2003 Golden State Region, Plymouth Owners Club Annual Meeting and Tour

La Purisma is the only mission in California that has its original water source intact. A system of underground clay pipes brings water from a permanent spring to a fountain that provided drinking water. The overflow from this fountain lead to a second, lower, pool that was used for laundry.
