1928 Plymouth 1937 Plymouth Plymouth: The First Decade

August 25, 2002 – Backyard Railway Tour

The newly formed Golden State Region of the Plymouth Owners Club was the sponsor for this event. The tour was open to other clubs and members of the California Chrysler Products Club, the Foothill Region of the AACA, and the Arcains (spelling?) attended.

Wilco Mining Railroad The Wilco Mining Railroad was our first stop. A nice figure eight setup with a very realistic burning building. The detail and the hidden humor in the detail of these installations is incredible.
Water Bottle Junction The Water Bottle Junction layout had a very intricate set of tracks and an incredible bridge over a large pond.
Lochness Valley Railroad The Lockness Valley Railroad. Again a very detailed and amazing layout.
Group photo The tour group (or at least some of them) at the Lockness Valley Railroad.
1931 Plymouth PA It was a car tour, so I guess I have to show some cars. This is Bob Semichey's 1931 PA Four Door Sedan.
Some old cars My 1933 PD Two Door Sedan. A 1960 Fiat with a custom body and, in the distance the Gray’s 1937 Plymouth Four Door Sedan.
Workshop details A picture of the inside of one of the model buildings at the Tuolumne County Narrow Gauge. This was an indoor setup. The outdoor one at that location is still being built up.
Group photo One of the indoor layouts at the Tuolumne County Narrow Gauge. An impressive amount of time and skill goes into all of these railroads.
