1928 Plymouth 1937 Plymouth Plymouth: The First Decade

April 15 and 16, 2000 – Sojourn to Paso Robles

This was a joint California Chrysler Products Club and Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club tour from the Bay Area to Paso Robles then back to San Jose via Monterrey.

The threat of rain caused the Model T owners to bring different cars but that did not dampen the event. The oldest vehicle was a Model A and my 1933 Plymouth was the second oldest. The newest was a 1989 Chrysler. The tour was about 400 miles and included one section on California 25 and some county roads where there was no town and no gas for about 100 miles. Open road My favorite view: Looking past the flying lady radiator cap onto an open road. This is California 25 south of Hollister. The combination of cool weather, wild flowers, green hills and no traffic made for a wonderful tour.
