I suspect that all this was originally nickle plate, but it still looks pretty impressive in chrome. This is some of the plumbing and controls for a steam powered fire pump. Originally it was horse drawn but it had been converted to be pulled by a unique three wheeled tractor. Fun to watch the San Jose firemen bring it in cranking the siren by hand.
