We are through most of the mountains by the time this picture was taken. You can see from the moisture on the windshield that I had to run the wiper earlier.

Other than the yellow paint for the center marker (introduced in the late 1960s or early 1970s) this photo could have been taken in the 1930s. A nice "new" Plymouth following a couple of Model A Fords.
