Restored 1930s gas station and truck. Part of the collection at the history museum. |
Looking toward the livery stables and the display of antique one cylinder farm and industrial
motors. |
Lots of Model A Fords on display. The entire block around the central square was
parked full of “A Models”. |
More Fords. |
Chinese temple with, of course, more Fords parked in front. |
Across the street from the hotel was a number of interesting cars... |
Several disc wheel Chevrolets with a Dodge and Plymouth barely visible in the background. |
Did I mention there were some Model A Fords attending? There was live 1920s jazz music. Very
pleasant eating a picnic in the center square listening to the music and looking at the cars. |
Parked across from the hotel were some fine old cars. In the foreground is a Pierce Arrows.
Behind it is a Buick, a Packard and a Studebaker. |
The blue car is a Buick. Behind it is a Packard and then the lovely yellow Studebaker. Oh yeah,
more Fords in the back ground. |
There was an antique trolley with free rides around the park. |
The view from our picnic bench. Hardly visible is the band playing on the band stand. The
white fire station in the background was almost church like in its presence. |
Most of the Model T Fords parked along the side of the hotel. The blue building
to the back housed a print shop where demonstrations of letter press printing were given.
Barely visible in the far background is the blacksmith shop were more demonstrations
were given. |
